5 Days of Freedom
I turn 18 in five days. This is my first of hopefully a very long list of posts I’ll be putting up as I grow old and my batteries slowly run out of juice. So to get things rolling Ill just list a bunch of current events to set the timeframe so when I reread this in twenty-three years at my dead-end job I’ll have something to laugh at.
Economic/Political: The war in Iraq is still going on, Bush is about to get the boot, Obama and Clinton are trying to get Bush’s warm seat, I’ll vote for Obama, it takes about seventy bucks to fill up my truck, people are worrying about climate change like communism in the 50’s.
Entertainment: Superbowl is this sunday-Gaints vs. Patriots, Heath Ledger OD’d a few days ago, Rambo-NationalTreasure II-Cloverfield-and the Bucket List are all playing in my movie theater, August Burns Red tickets: $12, Hannah Montana tickets: $60, Writers Guild on Strike, “Red-Ring of Death” plauges Xbox360 owners, and George Lucas to make Star Wars television series soon.
Alright that about sums things up. As for me I am sitting here typing this in my room on my Dell computer, AIM is running and the boxex that read “BlAcKxRoZeZxReD” and “x352baller07″ are blinking, while the “a7xcurse” box lies dormant as usual. WinAmp just ran out of qued songs; it was playing songs from Becoming the Archetype. Xfire is on, but i hardly use it anymore, the DUELLIES are a dying breed, only TheSteve, Standogg, and H3lmz remain active. I just took a nice gulp of Vitamin Water, I hope scientists don’t discover that Vitamin Water causes cancer or something in the future or I probably wont be able to laugh at this sentence. Im reading a book called “War of the World” about WWII, its long.
I think I’m going to play guitar hero.
