Just learned that legendary director of The Empire Strikes Back (Star Wars episode 5) has passed away at age 87.
Empire was a huge part of my childhood, along with the other two Star Wars movies it was sandwiched in between.
The Force will be with you. Always.
RIP Irvin Kershner.
